Buccaneers vs. Saints, Chiefs vs. Broncos: NFL Week 18 pick, odds

Post sports betting writer Dylan Svoboda is in his first season in the NFL Bettor’s Guide.

BUCCANEERS (-13.5) over Saints

It all comes down to Sunday’s game for the Buccaneers, who have won five of their past six to put themselves in pole position for an NFC South тιтle.

They’ll get a cakewalk in the Saints, who are injury-depleted all across their roster.

After starting out 2-0, New Orleans’ season has gone off the rails.

The Saints’ only win over the past five weeks was against the lowly Giants when they eked out a 14-11 victory.

With nothing to play for and a win needed for Tampa Bay, I expect this one to be a bit of a snoozer in the home team’s favor.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Carson Wentz (11) warms up before a game against the Houston Texans at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.

Chiefs (+10.5) over BRONCOS

It’ll be the Carson Wentz show for the Chiefs on Sunday.

With the No. 1 seed locked up, Wentz gets a sH๏τ in Week 18 for the second straight year.

The former Pro Bowler looked solid during a start with the Rams last season.

Betting on the NFL?

If the Chiefs had something to play for, they’d be favored by several points.

Sitting Patrick Mahomes and a few other starters isn’t enough to cause a two-touchdown-plus swing. Wentz should show out to keep this game within single digits.

Last week: 2-0. Lions (W), Commanders (W)
Season: 7-11.
