Dak Prescott’s fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, has ,000 worth of goods stolen from car as FBI warns high-profile athletes

The holidays took a harrowing turn for Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos.

Thousands of dollars worth of property, including designer goods from Chanel and Louis Vuitton, were stolen from Ramos’ vehicle on Thursday, the Dallas-based WFAA reported Sunday after reviewing a police report.

Ramos — who shares a 10-month-old daughter with the Cowboys’ starting quarterback and is expecting their second — was en route to a Pilates class the day after Christmas when she “quickly rushed inside due to the rain” and “forgot to lock her [vehicle door],” according to the report.

Numerous items had been taken upon her return, with the report citing “designer handbags and wallets from Chanel, YSL [Yves Saint Laurent], Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada, as well as computer software and cash” amongst the estimated $40,000 worth of pieces stolen.

The incident involving Ramos, who announced her engagement to Prescott, 31, in October, follows a slew of high-profile burglaries impacting professional athletes.

The home of Mavericks star Luka Doncic was broken into on Friday, with a police report obtained by the Dallas Morning News reporting jewelry valued close to $300,000 was stolen.

NFL stars Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Joe Burrow have also fallen victim to home burglaries in recent weeks, with the FBI addressing the matter in a Liaison Information Report acquired Monday by ABC News.

“These homes are targeted for burglary due to the perception they may have high-end goods like designer handbags, jewelry, watches, and cash,” the FBI said, noting “organized theft groups allegedly burglarized the homes of at least nine professional athletes” between the fall months of September and November.

The FBI also detailed how organized theft groups from South America can prepare to strike.

“Organized theft groups bypᴀss alarm systems, use Wi-Fi jammers to block Wi-Fi connections and disable devices, cover security cameras, and obfuscate their idenтιтies,” the report said.
