Opening the 90-ton coffin lid, surprised to see what’s inside

The ancient Saqqara cemetery in Giza province, Egypt is a world-famous site for many important discoveries of mummies. Among these, the most notable is the discovery of a 90-ton coffin by archaeologists.
Specifically, during excavations at Saqqara, experts found a granite coffin weighing 90 tons in 1851.
This was the largest coffin carved from a single block of granite at the time of its discovery. Therefore, many people were curious about what secrets were inside the coffin.
After discovering this giant coffin, many experts believe that inside it may contain the mummy of an ancient Egyptian pharoh.
To decipher this secret, experts used explosives to open the coffin lid. When they looked inside, they did not find the Egyptian pharaoh’s mummy but were surprised to discover a large bull mummy.
This discovery shocked archaeologists. They were surprised because they could not imagine that inside the giant 90-ton coffin there was not a human mummy but an animal.
Archaeologists then conducted further research on the mummy of the bull in the large coffin and why it was buried so solemnly.
Research results by experts show that ancient Egyptians created giant granite coffins for bulls because this animal has sacred meaning in spiritual life.
In ancient times, the Egyptians considered cows to be supernatural creatures with magical powers. When alive, they were treated like gods by humans.
Accordingly, after death, the bulls were mummified and buried in giant coffins like the powerful pharaohs of Egypt.
