Former NBA champion Dwight Howard revealed his relationship with rapper Amy Luciani by announcing their engagement on Instagram.
The pair went public about their relationship and shared their engagement in separate posts on Friday.
The Love and Hip Hop Atlanta 2023 alum shared a video of the former Orlando Magic poster boy admiring her diamond engagement ring at a club and explained how they kept their relationship under the radar for some time.
‘I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye but here we are,’ Luciani captioned. ‘Thank you for bringing me back to the word. Anything I say or fuss about, first thing you say is ‘Did you pray about it?’ Then I realized I hadn’t being praying much lately at all. I’m just thankful, happy and ready for everything that’s coming our way.
‘I prayed reallllll deep on a Thursday not knowing 2 days later God would send me a Bible totin, tattooed giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.’
Luciani’s post included pictures and videos of them from several occasions, including Howard’s 39th birthday celebration on December 8.

The eight-time NBA all-star took to the comments with an infinity emoji, a red heart emoji, and a lock and key emoji.
Howard also participated in the big reveal, posting pH๏τos with his fiancée at the movie screening of ‘Den of Thieves 2’ in Atlanta, which he hosted on Wednesday.
‘Happy,’ he captioned with the hashtags ‘black love’ and ‘prayed for this.’
The pair confirmed the news after a video of them flashing the ring at a club surfaced online on Thursday.
Earlier this month, they were pictured together at an event for Celsius energy drink in Miami. However, the genesis of their relationship remains unclear.
Howard was drafted by the Orlando Magic in 2004 and spent the first eight years of his 18-season NBA career with the team. After 2012, he bounced around organizations with stints with the Lakers, Rockets, Hawks, Hornets, Wizards, and 76ers.
The 2004 first-overall pick made eight All-Star appearances and was named Defensive Player of the Year thrice. He won a тιтle with the Lakers in 2020.
Following his NBA career, Howard played with the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan before returning Stateside to compete in Dancing With The Stars.
On Thursday, the Basketball Hall of Fame announced that Howard is eligible for induction alongside Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire, and others.
