Today we tour the ancient city of Ephesus. Famous for the spectacular Temple of Artemis—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World—it was one of the wealthiest cities in ancient Greece. It also played a role in the formation of the early Christian Church, attracting the attention of the Apostle Paul and possibly even the Virgin Mary. We’ll take a walking tour of the cobblestone streets and remarkable ruins of Ephesus, including the remarkably restored façade of the Library of Celsus.
