Taylor Swift apparently still has some lingering issues with the 49ers quarterback.
A video of the pop star with a young girl named Tinley, a patient at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, went viral on Thursday, and the Chiefs fan had an important question when the song “Paper Rings,” her favorite tune, came up.
“Is [the song] about Brock Purdy?” Tinley asked.
“Brock Purdy?” a slightly confused Swift asked.
“I mean I don’t mind Brock Purdy, but … he put me through a lot last February,” Swift said. “I was very stressed for a second.”
“I like Travis [Kelce] now,” Tinley would say afterward.
“Me too,” Swift replied. “That’s an absolute yes on that one.”
Tinley was, of course, referring to last February’s thrilling Super Bowl when the Chiefs and Swift’s boyfriend, Kelce, took down the 49ers, 25-22.
Swift served the good luck charm for the тιԍнт end at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for Kelce during that game, sitting in a celebrity-packed suite.
The couple almost ᴀssuredly won’t have to worry about Purdy and the 49ers during a potential 2025 Super Bowl.
San Francisco fell to 6-8 after a Thursday night loss to the Rams, all but eliminating them from the NFC playoff picture.
Swift, who turned 35 on Friday, wrapped up her Eras Tour in Vancouver on Sunday.
