Will Smith is distancing himself from Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“The world we’re in right now is really hard for y’all to discern what’s real and what’s true,” Smith, 56, said during a Thursday, December 12, show in San Diego, per footage obtained by TMZ. “I haven’t addressed any of this publicly, but I just wanted to say this very clearly: I don’t have s— to do with Puffy, so y’all can stop all the memes.”
Smith added, “You can stop all that bulls—. I ain’t been nowhere near those damn Freak-Offs. I do enough of my own s—, don’t be putting other people’s bulls—. I ain’t been anywhere near that man [or] did none of that stupid s—, so whenever you guys hear that, it’s a damn lie.”
Smith further joked that he “doesn’t even like baby oil.”

Diddy, 55, was indicted by a grand jury in September shortly before he was arrested for Sєx trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy and transportation to engage in prosтιтution. A 14-page indictment — which cited Diddy’s infamous parties, nicknamed “Freak-Offs,” as proof — claimed that Diddy “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades. The disgraced music mogul was also accused of keeping large quanтιтies of baby oil in his house for the alleged gatherings. (Smith, for his part, was not named in any of the lawsuits.)

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly in a September statement. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”
The statement concluded, “To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
