Kathy Hilton has opened up about her four-decade-long marriage with Rick Hilton.

The 65-year-old socialite — who is mom to Paris Hilton — celebrated her 45th wedding anniversary with Rick on November 24.

Chatting with Page Six at her DIRECTV Christmas at Kathy’s event this week, she dished on what keeps their union happy and healthy.

‘I think just — respect,’ the media personality said. ‘And honesty. And if you’re upset about something, you talk about it right away.’

Sharing another gem, Kathy — who recently stunned Real Housewives fans — pointed out the importance of being mindful of who they spend time with socially.

‘Keeping the right influences, like, the right couples around,’ she noted before emphasizing that ‘a little mystery’ is helpful.

Mrs. Hilton also advised that couples should ‘never go to bed upset.’

The mother-of-four has been with her husband since she was 15-years-old and he was 19.

They share Paris, 43, Nicky, 41, Barron, 25, and Conrad, 30. 

In October, Nicky praised her parents for showing her an ‘amazing template’ of a strong union. 

Sharing with People what her mom has taught her, she said: ‘I feel like some of the advice my mom has always given me is [to] never stop having fun, never go to bed angry and just to stop and smell the roses and enjoy every moment.’

Kathy told the publication about her husband in September: ‘We have not been away from each other for two weeks’ during their entire marriage.

‘I don’t think you go to bed without saying, “I love you,” and giving each other a kiss and never in a fight or anything. 

‘If you have had a disagreement, you always make up before you go to sleep and keep a little mystery and always keep it exciting and fun.’

Kathy and Rick tied the knot when she was 20 and he was 24, after they met as teenagers.

Rick is the grandson of Conrad Hilton, who founded Hilton H๏τel.

He’s the chairman and co-founder of Hilton & Hyland, a real estate brokerage firm based in Beverly Hills that specializes in homes and estates in Beverly Hills and other high-end regions.

Kathy is recognized for her appearances on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her philanthropic endeavors charities like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and for being the half-sister of RHOBH stars Kyle and Kim Richards.
