Selena Gomez towered over fellow Golden Globe nominee Ariana Grande at Tuesday’s Academy Women’s Luncheon in Los Angeles.

The Emilia Perez star — who will go head-to-head with Grande in the same acting category at the 2025 Globes — is relatively peтιтe, standing at 5 feet 5 inches tall.

But her chunky white platform heels gave her a bit of extra height at Tuesday’s event.

Gomez happily posed for pH๏τos with Grande, who is 5 foot 1, before taking their seats outside.

She styled her sky-high heels with a black Chanel skirt suit with ʙuттon accents and white trim at the collar and cuffs.

Gomez complemented her co-ord with black pantyhose and her brunette bob was styled in a center part and ironed straight.

The appearance comes after Gomez, 32, and Grande, 31, each received Golden Globe nominations for their respective roles in Emilia Pérez and Wicked.

Ariana bared her tattooed arms and hands in her outfit, which she also wore with sheer black pantyhose.

The songstress toted a small, quilted, black leather Chanel handbag, drawing attention to her long French manicure.

She wore her strawberry-blonde locks in an elegant updo complete with a side part and festive black bow.

Both ladies — who both founded makeup brands — looked typically gorgeous with their visages flawlessly made up with matte cosmetics. 

Following her Golden Globe nominations, Selena shared a video showing her excited reaction.

She has been recognized with a Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture nod.

The appearance comes after Gomez, 32, and Grande, 31, each received Golden Globe nominations for their respective roles in Emilia Pérez and Wicked 

Her co-star Zoe Saldana was also nominated in the same category. 

‘I don’t even know what to write. I am so proud of Zoe and I am so grateful and honored, Golden Globes,’ Gomez wrote in an Instagram Stories post.

Additionally, the Same Old Love singer was nominated for her role on the hit Hulu series Only Murders In The Building. 

Grande has earned her first-ever Golden Globe nomination in the same category as Selena and Zoe — Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role In Any Motion Picture.

She scored the acknowledgement for her turn as Galinda Upland in director Jon Chu’s Wicked fantasy drama.

The movie, which has been dominating the box office since its late November release, scored four nominations in total.

The 82nd Golden Globes will take place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on January 5 and will be hosted by Nikki Glaser.

Last year, the ceremony proved to be a successful night for Oppenheimer, which scored five major awards.

Christopher Nolan was named best director for the first time after six nominations, while Irish actor Cillian Murphy took home Best Actor in a Drama for his role as the father of the atomic bomb.
