Chris Rock looked somber as he was seen for the first time Monday since ‘storming out’ of his comedy set at a billionaire’s holiday party.
The comedian, 59, failed to raise a smile as he strolled in NYC – two days after the star left the stage just minutes into his surprise set at executive chairman of Pratt Industries Anthony Pratt’s winter holiday party.
Rock wore a black padded jacket, joggers and sneakers with a matching woolen hat for the outing.
He was reportedly upset by being videotaped at the party which was attended by many uber-wealthy Australians at the Mandarin Oriental, according to the New York Post.
Comedian Wali Collins and country singer Keith Urban were also hired to perform at the soirée, but in between their sets, Rock surprised the VIP crowd.
Rock reportedly took the stage in casual attire and first made a joke about the political climate in the U.S.

‘Our new push will be outer space. We’ll put all the Mexicans on the rockets,’ he joked as the crowd roared with laughter.
However, gossip columnist Cindy Adams of the New York Post said ‘he saw something the audience did not’ before abruptly ending his ‘very short set.’
‘Whatever he saw — or thought he saw — upset him.’
‘Like he went momentarily ape and shouted something like he wasn’t supposed to be taped, videoed, reported or whatever else wasn’t supposed to happen.’
She recalled how he ‘didn’t complain, didn’t explain, didn’t do one more minute’ before leaving.
He was ‘barreling quickly, forcefully, through people to the exit doors.’
‘He kept b****ing loudly and, without a second’s hesitation, stormed out — never to return.’
