The instalment will take place entirely within the hospital as the pressure of working in such a stressful environment takes its toll on the young lad, who will cross paths with some of the villagers at the hospital during his shift.

The New Year’s Eve episode ends with five peaks into the future, with the ‘flash-forwards’ each teasing something to come in 2025. 

But who will they involve, and will it be good news or bad news for our village favourites?
