Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield recently reunited for the first time since their Golden Globe Awards kiss went viral back in 2017.

The Canadian 48-year-old and the 41-year-old LA-born Brit’s very public display of affection happened the moment Ryan lost the best actor in a comedy or musical trophy to La La Land’s Ryan Gosling.

‘And of course, Gosling absolutely did not deserve it,’ Reynolds admitted on Variety’s Actors on Actors on Monday.

‘I’m actually a genuine, nutty fan of his.’

Andrew agreed: ‘I’m glad that you were you were game for that, and I also retrospectively felt a little bit insensitive towards Ryan’s moment.’

Ryan replied: ‘I did too, but I was so grateful that it was such a wide sH๏τ that nobody actually noticed until later and it was actually kind of perfect.’

The three-time Spider-Man star recalled: ‘But I was able to apologize to Ryan about that, thankfully, and say I’m so, so sorry!’

At that, the Ghosted actor wisecracked: ‘I actually just egged his house, which is super childish to do but I didn’t feel so great about losing.’

Ryan went on to gush over how Andrew ‘can do no wrong in our house’ as he and Blake ‘love you.’

‘[We love] your work and your dedication,’ Reynolds said.

‘You do something that only you can do, and that’s a beautiful thing to watch in action.’

And Garfield marveled over the Emmy-winning producer being ‘the head writer on’ ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine: ‘I don’t know anyone else who’s doing it, in terms of peeling back the onion of the self-awareness and meta-ness and also retaining a heart and providing a genuine service to fans while also kind of mocking.’

And while the two-time Oscar nominee’s film We Live in Time received zero nominations for the 82nd Golden Globe Awards airing January 5, Ryan’s Marvel movie is up for ‘cinematic and box office achievement’ thanks to its $1.338B gross.
