As soon as her name was listed for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture category, she sat up.
The siren from Texas was nominated for her supporting role in the movie Emilia Perez. She will complete in the same category as costar Zoe Saldana.
The main star of the film, Karla Sofía Gascon, was nominated in the lead actress category.
She was also nominated for her role on the series Only Murders In The Building.
‘I don’t even know what to write. I am so proud of Zoe and I am so grateful and honored Golden Globes,’ wrote the ex of Justin Bieber over her Insta Stories video.
The Spanish language film received a total of 10 nominations on Monday morning. The award show airs on January 5, 2025.

The big names competing for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama are Angelina Jolie (‘Maria’), Nicole Kidman (‘Babygirl’), Tilda Swinton (‘The Room Next Door’), Fernanda Torres (‘I’m Still Here’), Pamela Anderson ‘(The Last Showgirl’) and Kate Winslet (‘Lee’).
The TV categories are led by ‘The Bear’, ‘Only Murders In The Building’ and ‘Shogun’.
The ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton H๏τel in Los Angeles on January 5 and will be hosted by stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser.
During the event, ‘Cheers’ legend Ted Danson will receive the Carol Burnett Award for those who have ‘made outstanding contributions to television on or off screen.’
Viola Davis will be handed the Cecil B. DeMille Award for achievement in film.
