Earning one Golden Globes nomination is an honor, but earning two within the same year for two different projects is a special accomplishment.
Several stars have scored simultaneous Golden Globes nominations for TV and movie roles over the years. One of the latest to join the club is Selena Gomez, who earned two 2025 Golden Globes nods for her role in the film Emilia Pérez and on the series Only Murders in the Building.
“I don’t even know what to write,” she wrote via her Instagram Story in December 2024. “I’m so proud of @zoesaldana and I am so grateful and honored @goldenglobes.” (She was nominated alongside her Emilia Pérez costar Zoe Saldaña in the Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture category.)

Some celebs, such as Kate Winslet and Idris Elba, have earned TV and movie acting nominations within the same year multiple times. Several years before she earned two 2025 Golden Globes nominations, Winslet was recognized in 2012 for the film Carnage and the miniseries Mildred Pierce.
