Chris Rock ran out in the middle of his surprise comedy set at billionaire’s holiday party.
The comedian was reportedly upset by being videotaped so he ‘stormed out’ just minutes after he took the stage at executive chairman of Pratt Industries Anthony Pratt’s winter holiday party.
Rock, 59, was hired by the billionaire cardboard box magnate for his lavish party attended by the uber-wealthy elites of Australia at the Mandarin Oriental, according to the New York Post.
Comedian Wali Collins and country singer Keith Urban were also hired to perform at the soirée, but in between their sets, Rock surprised the VIP crowd.
Rock reportedly took the stage in casual attire and first made a joke about the political climate in the U.S.
‘Our new push will be outer space. We’ll put all the Mexicans on the rockets,’ he joked as the conclave of Australia’s super elites roared with laughter.

However, gossip columnist Cindy Adams of the New York Post said ‘he saw something the audience did not’ before abruptly ending his ‘very short set.’
‘Whatever he saw — or thought he saw — upset him.’
‘Like he went momentarily ape and shouted something like he wasn’t supposed to be taped, videoed, reported or whatever else wasn’t supposed to happen.’
She recalled how he ‘didn’t complain, didn’t explain, didn’t do one more minute’ before leaving.
He was ‘barreling quickly, forcefully, through people to the exit doors.’
‘He kept b****ing loudly and, without a second’s hesitation, stormed out — never to return.’
Earlier this year, Pratt held a lavish bash at his $100 million mansion in Melbourne and invited an array of political elites to enjoy a private performance by Katy Perry.
While there were protestors outside of his estate, it appeared his event went just as he planned and did not feature any outbursts in front of his guests.

Rock storming out of his holiday party comes nearly three years after another memorable and tense moment often referred to as The Slap Heard Around the World.
During the 94th Academy Awards on March 27, 2022, actor Will Smith walked onstage and slapped Rock across the face for making jokes about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
In the past, he spoke about how he was diagnosed with nonverbal learning disorder and said he struggles to understand non-verbal signals made in conversations.
‘It’s great for writing jokes but not one-on-one relationships,’ he said.
‘And all I understand are the words. I’d always just chalked it up to being famous.’
