Martha Stewart revealed she doesn’t ‘even know’ how to check her Instagram direct messages.
While appearing on Saturday’s episode of TalkShopLive with chef Thomas Joseph the 83-year-old businesswoman plugged her 100th published book and got candid about her digital literacy skills — or lack thereof.
The formerly incarcerated cook admitted: ‘Do you know I’ve never answered a DM.
‘I don’t even know where they are,’ she told her co-host while live on the video commerce platform.
She even quipped that she must have ‘million[s]’ of unread messages from fans, and promised to check them ‘one of these days.’
‘You have to go to messages and then you have to go to DM’s. I probably have several million of them. Oh my gosh I better look at that one of these days,’ she said.

‘It was a joy to put this book together and a lot of hard work picking just 100 of my favorite recipes,’ the TV personality said during the livestream.
‘There’s a lot of stuff for Christmas in the book. There’s lots of good holiday menus and there is the best Meyer lemon drop cocktail.’
On November 18, the book’s publisher Clarkson Potter — who Stewart has been working with since 1982 — took to Instagram to give fans a sneak peek at the cookbook’s contents.
The publishing giant described the project as ‘an intimate collection of 100 treasured recipes, along with stunning pH๏τos from her personal archives and the stories behind them. A must for anyone who has ever been inspired by the one and only Martha Stewart.’
They added in the caption: ‘Join Martha in the kitchen as she shares favorite recipes and invaluable tips. Learn how to cook her mother’s humble Potato Pierogi, her decadent Gougères, a comforting Apple Brioche Bread Pudding, and the famous Paella she makes for the luckiest friends who visit her in summer.
‘You’ll find something to satisfy everyone’s taste, whether it’s a simple meal you make for yourself, a weeknight family dinner, or a special celebration, recipes range from breakfast & brunch to soups & salads, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, dinner, and of course dessert.’
