Jennifer Lopez appeared unfazed by her ex Ben Affleck’s warm Thanksgiving celebration with his first ex-wife Jennifer Garner. 

The 54-year-old superstar flashed her megawatt smile during a stylish Black Friday shopping spree in Beverly Hills.

Lopez exuded effortless elegance, wearing a sophisticated tan overcoat paired with a crisp white oxford shirt and faded denim. 

Her signature chestnut locks cascaded casually, and she completed the look with sleek aviator sunglᴀsses and a designer handbag.

While Lopez indulged in some retail therapy, Affleck spent the previous day volunteering at Midnight Mission with Garner and their three children—Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.

The actor reportedly ‘felt blessed’ to share a cozy meal with the family at Garner’s home, especially amid his ongoing divorce from Lopez.

On Thursday, Affleck was seen getting close to Garner as they worked together at the non-profit, helping to feed 2,000 homeless people in downtown Los Angeles. 

The two were spotted whispering to each other, further fueling speculation about their close bond.

A source told Page Six that Ben ‘felt blessed’ to spend Thanksgiving with his ex-wife and children, adding that he ‘can just be himself’ around Garner.

The former couple were married from 2005 until their split was announced in 2015. Three years later, their divorce was officially finalized in 2018.

‘Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,’ the insider continued.

‘Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.’

The source further informed the outlet that Affleck and Garner have spent other Thanksgiving holidays together since their separation. 

‘They’ll always be close because they share children together and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship.’

One day earlier on Thursday, Ben appeared in high spirits as he volunteered for Midnight Mission with Garner, as well as their children. 

The pair donned matching aprons that had ‘I [heart] the Midnight Mission’ as they served special meals to those in need on the holiday. 

During the outing, the two stars were seen standing close to each other and at one point, Affleck was seen whispering into Jennifer’s ear with a small smile on his face. 

Body language expert, Judi James, informed DailyMail.com that Ben’s ‘demeanor suggests he is where he wants to be, without any pressure to perform as an A-lister.’ 

‘His smile registers a fun, playful approach and at one point he whispers in Jennifer’s ear in an act of intimacy.’

James added, ‘Ben is in pure alpha mode here, standing with arms folded and head cocked, looking immersed in the event, in contrast to his rather disconnected public signals with J-Lo.’ 

In 2022, Affleck married Jennifer Lopez – whom he previously dated in the early 2000s before their first split.

However, earlier this year in August, the On The Floor songstress filed for divorce from the Oscar winner on their second wedding anniversary.

While strolling along a street in a quiet neighborhood, the Hollywood star easily carried an iced drink in his hand. 

As Affleck spent the holiday with Garner and their kids, Lopez also had the chance to enjoy Thanksgiving.
