NBA legend Scottie Pippen may be best known for his six championship тιтles with the Chicago Bulls but since bringing an end to his glittering life on the court, he has taken his career in a whole new direction off it.
The 59-year-old, who retired from the NBA in 2004, has swapped basketball jerseys for couture with Pippen set to launch his own clothing line.
The former forward has teamed up with his daughter Sophia to create a menswear brand called ‘Unguarded.’
The collection, which has heavily involved streetwear designer Cᴀssius Smith in its design process, will reportedly feature high-end apparel with ‘classic silhouettes with modern thinking,’ according to TMZ.
‘With Unguarded,’ Pippen said, ‘we’ve been able to elevate the basics and escape the typical streetwear stereotypes. It’s completely unexpected how incredible this line is.’
Pippen, Sophia and co. reportedly began brining the collection to life around 11 months ago and expect it to hit the market next summer.

Sophia shared a sneak peek of the upcoming clothing line with fans as she posted several behind-the-scenes snaps from a pH๏τoshoot.
‘BTS #Unguarded coming soon,’ she wrote alongside shushing emojis.
The aspiring runway model struck a pose in her and her dad’s designs alongside hip-hop and rap artist Ju$tice.
In one pH๏τo, Sophia stuns in a baggy navy sweater, a pair of washed-blue denim straight-leg jeans, and 90s-style rectangular pitch-black sunglᴀsses.
Other looks in the teaser also played on the 90s vintage theme with another snap showing Sophia in a blue varsity jacket with red and yellow trimming, while Ju$tice shows off a matching pair of shorts.
The musician models a number of classic, chic looks, including a two-tone cream and beige ‘shacket’ and blue collared jacket.
Sophia has followed in her mother Larsa Pippen’s footsteps by entering the fashion world as a model. The 15-year-old already has a deal with Oscar de la Renta, according to Marca.
The clothing line shares its name with Pippen’s 2021 memoir, which took aim at former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan.

Sophia is one of Pippen’s four children he shares with ex-wife Larsa, along with her three brothers Scotty Jr., Preston and Justin.
Larsa and Pippen first split in 2016 before reconciling and parting ways for good in 2018. The couple’s divorce was officially finalized in December 2021, following 24 years of marriage.
Last year, Larsa was awarded a lump sum of Pippen’s retirement plan after reportedly being recognized as an ‘alternate payee’ of his Chicago Bulls 401k Savings Plan Trust, RadarOnline reported.
The court awarded Larsa ‘fifty percent’ of whatever was in their account closet to their date of separation. The couple married July 20, 1997 and their official date of separation is recognized as November 3, 2016.
