The international singing compeтιтion is being hosted in Switzerland after Swiss singer Nemo took the trophy earlier this year in Malmo, Sweden.
The Swiss star, 25, became the compeтιтion’s first non-binary winner, after they scored 365 points with the juries and 226 from the public for a total of 591 with their song The Code.
Four cities were in the running to host, including Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zurich, with Geneva and Basel being narrowed down as the final two.
The selection also means 2025 will mark the sixth consecutive year that the compeтιтion hasn’t taken place in a country’s capital city.
Due to be hosted in the St Jakobshalle arena, the venue is situated in Münchenstein and is usually used for indoor sports and concert events and has a capacity of 12,400 people.
