Jennifer Garner enjoyed a movie date with her children, Fin and Samuel, during a relaxing outing in Santa Monica ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Alias actress, 52 — who has been filming the second season of the thriller тιтled The Last Thing He Told Me — stopped by an AMC Theater to catch a film as she spent quality time with her two youngest kids.

The star shares Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with ex-husband Ben Affleck  – as well as daughter Violet, 18, who is currently away at college.

Garner kept it casual for the daytime excursion wearing a pair of fitted, blue leggings and a dark navy jacket that was ʙuттoned at the front.

She additionally added a shirt underneath and slipped into a pair of vibrant, orange sneakers that were secured with purple laces.

Jennifer’s dark locks were pulled back and styled into a simple ponytail, while a blue cap was placed on top of her head for a final touch.

The 13 Going On 30 actress easily carried a large purse over her right shoulder to hold items she needed during the low-key outing. 

Garner opted to not wear any flashy pieces of jewelry, but sported a pair of brown-rimmed glᴀsses.

Jennifer was spotted holding a lighthearted conversation with Fin while standing outside of the theater, and later made her way down an escalator with her son Samuel close behind. 

The star’s eldest child, Violet, is currently attending Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut after beginning her freshman year in August. 

At the time, Garner was seen reuniting with her ex, Ben Affleck, near the university as they prepared to officially drop off their daughter at college. 

Jennifer and Ben notably tied the knot in 2005, but their divorce was finalized in 2018 after 13 years of marriage. 

In 2022, Affleck married Jennifer Lopez – whom he previously dated in the early 2000s before their first split. 

However, earlier this year in August, the On The Floor songstress filed for divorce from the Oscar winner on their second wedding anniversary.

Last week, sources informed DailyMail.com that Garner ‘no longer wishes’ to be in contact with Lopez following the end of her marriage to Affleck.

The insider added, ‘Especially considering Jen felt pitted against JLo at times during their own marriage. Jen is too nice and truly wanted to help, so she tried.’ 

Violet was recently seen posing for a selfie with Lopez’s sister, Lynda, who paid her a visit at Yale – which had left both Garner and Affleck ‘confused.’ 

The ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine actress found the pH๏τo ‘odd,’ but will not say anything negative about the singer or her sister.

Garner has been filtering through a busy schedule while filming the second season of the Apple TV+ series, The Last Thing He Told Me. 

Last week, the star was spotted on set while shooting a night scene – and earlier this month, swung an ax onto a van as she filmed an additional tense scene. 

The first season of the show premiered last year in April 2023 – and became the streaming site’s most-watched limited series, despite having a score of only 41% on Rotten Tomatoes.  

The Last Thing He Told Me is based on the novel of the same name written by Laura Dave – with season one first premiering on Apple TV+ in April 2023.

The premise of season one followed, ‘A woman (Garner) who forms an unexpected relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter while searching for the truth about why her husband has mysteriously disappeared,’ per IMDB. 

Earlier this year in March, it was revealed that the series had been renewed for a second season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Along with Garner, other cast members such as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice and David Morse, will reprise their roles.

The second season will be based on a sequel to The Last Thing He Told Me – which was also written by Laura Dave. 

Ahead of her stepping back on set, Garner recently sparked engagement rumors with her boyfriend, John Miller, late last month in October. 

While driving in Los Angeles, the actress could be seen wearing a gold band with a turquoise stone on her ring finger.
