Scarlett Johansson exuded sophistication as she did the promotional rounds just days after celebrating her milestone 40th birthday.

The actress was spotted arriving to Live with Kelly & Mark in a chic copper suit complete with glossy high heels and a tan Prada bag.

She looked fabulous with her lips coated in a strawberry pink lip gloss and a touch of blush bringing out her natural beauty.

The Avengers star flashed a cheery smile as she meandered out of the bustling studio.

While the star was appearing on the show to promote her skincare line The Outset, she was more than happy to dish on her recent birthday party, which was thrown by her husband Colin Jost, 42.

‘He’s very good at gift giving,’ she said of Colin. ‘He always buys beautiful jewelry. He threw me a humongous bash this year and it was a surprise and I had all the martinis for everyone. I can’t wait to see the pH๏τos so I can remember the night,’ she joked.

Scarlett compared the bash to a ‘This is your life’ style event which was attended by many of her friends and colleagues.  

‘But it was like a “this is your life” kind of… It was just incredible. So many of my friends and colleagues came from all over the place, it was magical, and he put it all together!’ she said.

‘He’s a good guy… He is a very, very, very great guy. I’m extremely lucky. He’s a kind person and he’s hilarious and thoughtful and loving and he’s a great dad and I love him. I feel very, very lucky,’ she said.

‘He’s also, he’s got his naughty side. He keeps it interesting,’ she said, which steered the conversation towards the unusual purchase her husband recently made.

Last year, Jost and Pete Davidson bought the Staten Island Ferry, which Scarlett was resigned to admit was still decommissioned.  

‘That’s the naughty part I was talking about,’ she said when Mark Consuelos brought up the boat. ‘He bought the Staten Island Ferry. A decommissioned Staten Island Ferry. And it is, yep, still decommissioned.’

While it may be out of service, the boat was recently used to host the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show.

‘I was like, “What’s happening with this boat? It’s… got to start paying for its own docking fees at least, right?” So this year they had the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show on the Staten Island Ferry!’

While Kelly Ripa recalled being excited to learn how the boat was being put to use, Scarlett was in disbelief.

‘See, you had that reaction. I was like, “Fashion people are coming on the Staten Island Ferry? What’s happening with the bathrooms? Surely you renovated the bathrooms, right?”‘ she recalled. ‘And he was like, “No, I don’t actually know how the bathroom…”

The bathrooms were far from luxurious and were comparable to those found in elementary schools.

‘It’s like being in elementary school,’ Scarlett said.

Despite the obstacles, Scarlett said the event was a roaring success.

‘It was a big success though! Huge success!’ she said. ‘So if anybody has like a bat mitzvah they need to throw, please go to rentaferry.com. It’ll really make our family happy.’

When Kelly asked if the website was real, Johansson replied: ‘No I need to make that happen right now.’

The actress has been married to Colin since 2020 and they share son Cosmo, three, together.

Scarlett also shares daughter Rose, 10, with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac, with the former couple married between 2014 and 2017.
