I’m A Celebrity fans have blasted Dean McCullough as a ‘hypocrite’ for deliberately  irritating Tulisa on Monday night, following his clash with Alan Halsall last week.

The Radio 1 DJ, 32, previously lost his temper with the Coronation Street star, 42, after being woken from a nap to collect firewood with Jane Moore.

But the latest episode saw Dean having no reservations about waking up Tulisa, 36, despite the singer specifically asking him not to. 

The N-Dubz star had to leave her comfy bed in the leaders’ lodge this week, after her reign as camp leader came to an end.

And resigned to sleeping on a hammock, she begged Dean not to wake her up early once again with one of his daily ‘musical theatre’ performances, which have seen him leading the campmates in a morning sing-along.

Barry McGuigan warned Dean to leave Tulisa alone, saying: ‘Tulisa is still in her dreams there. She doesn’t like to get up until it suits her,’ while Oti Mabuse echoed: ‘We’re not gonna disturb her’.

However, Dean was up to his usual tricks, deviously telling the Bush Telegraph: ‘Now that she’s out of the leaders’ lodge, Tulisa has warned me that there must be no musical theatre early in the morning.

‘So, I made it my mission to make sure that the camp woke up this morning with the sound of lovely singing, even if Tulisa didn’t want it!’

He promptly belted out Singin’ In the Rain hit Good Morning, dancing around Tulisa’s bed and bending down to wake her from her slumber.

The former X Factor judge couldn’t hide her displeasure, pretending to send a prayer, before grudgingly getting up.

She shook off her annoyance however, later admitting: ‘I knew it was coming, and I shouldn’t have moaned so much because now they know and I’m expecting more in the days to come. It’s alright, I’ve got this’.

But viewers at home took issue with the ‘attention-seeking’ behaviour from Dean, pointing out that he had been fuming about being woken by Alan just days before. 

Saturday night saw Dean taking a nap and neglecting his camp chores, leaving Loose Women’s Jane to collect firewood alone. 

Alan decided to gently wake Dean to help out, but was unable to get his campmate to stir, so said: ‘You don’t fancy it? No?’ before traipsing off to help Jane himself.

Dean then got himself up and went down to join them, telling Alan: ‘You can go back now’, as the actor explained: ‘I was trying to wake you up as soft as I could.’

But an infuriated Dean sH๏τ back: ‘Listen to me. If you’re gonna wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright? It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright, so you don’t need to turn around to me and say “Do you not fancy it, Ok?” And then turn around and walk away.’

Alan explained: ‘I’ve listened to you, Jane was halfway down here, that’s why I went’ s the pair got into a heated back and forth.

Fans couldn’t help but point out the difference in atтιтude that Dean with waking Tulisa, taking to social media to fume that he needed to ‘practice what you preach’.

They shared: ‘So he hates being woken up and gets arsey and all up in Alan’s face? Yet, he gets in Tulisa’s face, and that’s fine? Hypocrite!!!’

‘The hypocritical nature of Dean after moaning at Alan for ‘waking him up’ then going out of his way to wake Tulisa up; Dean went mad at Alan about waking him up but he does it to Tulisa after she asked him not to and it’s funny?!’

‘Hang on a minute we had Dean’s ‘no YOU listen to me’ at Alan when he woke him up as nicely as he could and now Dean’s out here screeching showtunes to purposely wake Tulisa up?! Nahhh’. 

‘So Dean gets p****d at Alan for GENTLY waking him up to do his job But it’s ok for him to LOUDLY wake up Tulisa while in front of her face; Dean threw a strop being woken up nicely, yet he wakes Tulisa up like that!

‘The fact that Dean went off at Alan for waking him up but it’s okay for him to wake up Tulisa; okay so Dean yelled at Alan for gently waking him up yet he’s singing and poking Tulisa awake?’ 

‘I’m sorry but dean kicked up a fuss over being woken up from a NAP, and he just goes and sings in Tulisa’s face while shes sleeping, after she’s already said don’t do that; Dean’s not happy that Tulisa is saying no 6am singing, but kicks off when someone wakes him up to do his chores…’

‘Dean hated Alan waking him up gently from a nap at night. So now he’s singing right into Tulisa’s face after she’s sleeping properly at night. Makes sense; dean singing to shove it in tulisa’s face as if he didn’t just about cry when alan woke him up’.

‘Dean is such a hypocrite getting angry at Alan for waking him up then singing in Tulisa’s face to wake her up. the sooner he’s out the better; The way Dean was so against Tulisa wanting a nice sleep in as if he wasn’t the one fuming at Alan for calmly waking him up the other night and lambasting him in his face.’

‘Dean went mad in Alan’s face the other day because he woke him up, yet Dean wakes Tulisa up and thinks it hilarious. Really don’t know whether Dean is desperate for screen time or is just really desperate for screen time, it’s like he’s putting on a bad performance.’
