An insider exclusively tells Us Weekly that “there’s occasional tension” between the father and son when it comes to the topic of Charles’ succession, adding, “The dynamics have shifted.” According to a second source, William, 42, “is preparing behind the scenes” for the day he eventually takes the British throne. “Charles has wanted to be the monarch for decades.
