Paul McCartney is a family man through and through. The Beatles icon, who has been married three times, has welcomed five children and eight grandchildren since his rise to stardom began in the 1960s. In 2023, McCartney opened up about his life as a father and a husband, noting that the two are “completely different […]
Scorsese, 82, produced the film, which tells the story of The Beatles first trip to America in February 1964. The documentary has “never-before-seen footage” and “gives a rare glimpse into when The Beatles became the most influential and beloved band of all time,” the official description reads. Fans of the band will get an inside look at McCartney’s friendship with fellow Beatles, the late Lennon, the late George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
McCartney was all smiles at the screening with Shevell, whom he met in 2007 while staying in the Hamptons. They were spotted kissing later that year, making headlines for their 17-year age gap. (McCartney was previously married to Linda McCartney, who died in 1998 following a battle with breast cancer. Then, he and ex-wife Heather Mills were married from 2002 to 2008.)
Following his divorce from Mills, the singer went public with Shevell. They announced their engagement in May 2011 and got married in October of that year.

“I completely overdo Valentine’s Day! I mean, there’s not just one card, there are cards hidden around the room, and sometimes things even spill into the next day — it’s completely silly,” McCartney wrote on his website at the time. “If there’s an excuse to have some fun, I overdo it!”
He added, “I try to be helpful as a husband too. If there’s a problem, I like to be the guy that will lend some strength to it. I’m always very happy to be the person Nancy relies on, and to be her strength when she goes through tough times.”
Beatles ’64 premieres via Disney+ on Friday, November 29.
