Windsor Castle is all decked out for Christmas.
The royal residence unveiled its 2024 holiday decor on Thursday, November 21, and to say the grounds are decorated impeccably is an understatement.
During the festive period, Windsor Castle visitors are able to take in the stunning sights of the State Apartments “decorated with magnificent Christmas displays,” including a 20-foot Nordmann fir Christmas tree in St. George’s Hall, which was sourced from Windsor Great Park and will be replanted there after the holidays.
A 15-foot Nordmann fir Christmas tree is also on display in the Crimson Drawing Room, which is part of the Semi-State rooms used for “official entertaining by the Royal Family.” The rooms are open to the public in the winter.
