A couple who appeared on BBC’s Escape To The Country were left blown away by a ‘stunning’ property with a feature that has ‘never been seen before’ on the show.
On Thursday’s episode, host Jules Hudson was tasked with helping guests Maria and Danielle make their big move from Lancashire to Moray, Scotland.
Higher education consultant, Maria, and newly-retired police sergeant, Danielle, were looking for a home that could house their dogs, cats, and 26 chickens, within their £400,000 budget.
Jules took the couple to view a selection of impressive potential homes, but one stood out from the rest.
The custom-built detached house in Lossiemouth, Moray, boasts a grand entrance hall, a stunning open-plan kitchen-living-dining area, a mezzanine study space, and three bedrooms, including an opulent suite.
However, it was the breathtaking indoor balcony, complete with grand iron railings, which left the pair blown away.

After leading them up the staircase, Jules said: ‘The view of the kitchen-diner, one quite unlike any I’ve ever seen before.’
Danielle, visibly in awe, replied: ‘This is stunning. Jules you’ve floored us with this one.’
‘It is stunning. It’s a wildest dream, I would never have thought you could find something like this,’ added Maria.
After touring the whole house, Jules took them outside to the garden hypothesise about the house’s market value.
Danielle’s estimated £395,000 while Maria guessed that bids had exceeded £380,000.
Their jaws dropped again when Jules said: ‘You will be delighted to know, I am sure, this has been slightly reduced. They’re now looking for offers over £365,000.’
Despite falling in love with the house, Maria and Danielle decided against making an offer and instead purchased one of the other properties.
Escape To The Country airs weekdays at 3pm on BBC One.
