Despite the seemingly sweet moment, viewers at home were not impressed and branded the tears ‘a bit much’.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, they penned: ‘How much time do these contestants spend together? Crying seems a bit much. #dealornodeal. Reminds me of Survivor after a week.
‘They must feed the #DealOrNoDeal contestants double sided doves and gin backstage, cos their always either loved up or crying.’

As she fished the item out of her bra, causing the host to look away, Kelly revealed a carved wooden heart which was given to her in a church shortly after her sister pᴀssed away.
And it seemed that the lucky charm did the trick as Kelly went on to play a blinder of a game, going on to beat the Banker and bag an impressive 29,860 – despite only having £5000 in her box.
Viewers were quick to heap praise on Kelly, applauding her for a game well played.

However, fans have questioned the authenticity of the process after they spotted a key clue which suggested that the random selection is ‘fake’.
Eagle-eyed watchers have noticed that the chosen contestant’s family and friends are always conveniently sitting right behind them in the front row of the audience.
Throughout the episode, a player would often consult their loved ones for advice and support, with the friends and family often helping them make big decisions – so it’s vital that they are sitting close by.
But this had led to fans questioning whether the selection is therefore staged, with many rushing to X, formerly known as Twitter, to voice their thoughts.
