Ana de Armas seemingly confirmed a new romance when she was pictured kissing the stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel during a night on the town in Madrid, Spain.

The 36-year-old Cuban-born star locked lips with Manuel Anido Cuesta after they appeared to enjoy a dinner date together last week.

The romantic move also appeared to indicate that Ana had ended her relationship with Tinder Vice President Paul Boukadakis, whom she began dating in the wake of her split from Ben Affleck.

The two looked loved-up on an after-dinner stroll, during which Ana locked arms with Manuel, who is an advisor to his father.

Ana, who moved from Cuba to Spain at 18, later stepped out again with her companion as they took her dog Salsa out for an evening walk.

The Knives Out actress looked effortlessly fashionable on the outing thanks to her white cashmere overcoat.

At the time, the Cuban influencer Alexander Otaola claimed on his show that Ana and Manuel were dating, according to the Latin Times.

He alleged that the Bond girl had been spotted returning to her home country Cuba to vacation with the president’s stepson.

She had previously been reported to be dating Tinder Vice President Paul Boukadakis, but little of their relationship was ever revealed, and neither he nor Ana have confirmed that it ended.

Manuel’s stepfather, Miguel Díaz-Canel, is the main successor to Cuban leaders Fidel and Raúl Castro.

Fidel served many roles in Cuba’s government, but he turned over his positions as President of the Council of State of Cuba and President of the Council of Ministers of Cuba in 2008 to his younger brother Raúl, and in 2011 he was also succeeded by his brother as First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, before dying in 2016.

Raúl, 93, then was succeed in his presidential positions by Miguel in 2018, and he then took over leadership of Cuba’s Communist Party in 2021.

She returned to her home country to shoot French filmmaker Olivier ᴀssayas’ spy thriller Wasp Network, which marked her first time working in Cuba since her departure years earlier. 

By 2021, Ana was an in-demand actress when she appeared again with Craig in the James Bond film No Time To Die, which she followed up with the psychological thriller Deep Water (2022), which she sH๏τ with her then-boyfriend Ben Affleck. 

In the same year she appeared in the Netflix action thriller The Gray Man, and she earned an Oscar nomination for leading the controversial drama Blonde, a fictionalized exploration of the life of Marilyn Monroe based on the acclaimed novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates. 

Ana most recently starred in Ron Howard’s survival thriller Eden, which has yet to be released, and she is currently in post-production on the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, which is slated to be released in 2025.

In September, Ana revealed that she was living ‘off the grid’ in a rural home in Vermont.

She had previously sold her home in Venice, California, due to ‘privacy issues,’ even as she continued to date Ben Affleck.

She later moved to New York for some time, and it’s unclear if she is now based full-time in Spain or just visiting.
