Case in point? On Wednesday, the reality star stepped out on the streets of New York City in an outfit that belonged on the beach. For her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kardashian wore a strappy white gown that looked more like a swimsuit coverup than dress with a plunging bra top and sarong-style skirt. The two pieces were connected by a set of skinny straps that that wrapped around her bare midriff and traveled up past her chest.

Kim accessorized minimally, adding just a pair PVC platform heels to her look, while her glam consisted of heavy pink blush that created a sunburnt-like effect, a ɴuᴅᴇ glossy lip, and her dark brunette hair styled in textured beach waves.

During her appearance, the SKIMS founder opened up about her dating life and how her four kids—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—like to play Cupid. “It’s so funny because my kids try to set me up. Like, they’re ready now and I’m not,” she said, confirming that she was currently single. “They’re so particular. Like they come home, they make lists. Saint wants me to be with any basketball player or soccer player.”

“I’m like, ‘If you only knew,'” she joked, seemingly referencing her infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries. Kardashian continued, “It’s no, no, no. And then some of my kids want me to be with streamers. Like they have lists and they try to sneakily set me up and I’m like ‘guys, this just isn’t what I want right now.’”
