π₯Ίπ HIS CONDITION IS PROGRESSIVE, BUT HIS FAMILY REFUSES TO LET FEAR TAKE AWAY THEIR PRECIOUS MOMENTS TOGETHER π·ποΈ
When little Oliwier was just seven months old, his family noticed that something had suddenly changed. His tiny body began to stiffen, his hands curled into fists, and his parents could barely move him.
After specialist appointments and an MRI, they received a devastating diagnosis: leukodystrophy, a rare and progressive condition affecting the brainβs white matter. Doctors explained that there is currently no cure, and Oliwierβs condition could significantly shorten his life. π
Today, he cannot walk, sit or speak, and he receives nutrition through a feeding tube. He also experiences epilepsy and episodes of severe stiffness that can make breathing difficult. His family now receives support from a home hospice team as his medical needs continue to grow. π₯π

Yet amid all the uncertainty, there are still precious moments.
A familiar voice. A gentle response. And most importantly, Oliwierβs smile. π₯Ήπ
His two siblings love him deeply. To them, he isn’t defined by his condition β he is simply their little brother, someone they want to be close to and make memories with.
His parents know they cannot change what their son is going through. But they can surround him with comfort, tenderness and love for every moment they are given. π·π
Oliwierβs journey is a reminder that sometimes love is found not in knowing how much time we have, but in making every moment together count. πποΈβ¨
