After so many prayers, the Garrett family finally received the news they had been desperately hoping for: Blake Garrett’s surgery went well. 🥹❤️

Blake, the beloved grandson of Mama Sue and Harold Garrett, underwent surgery to help relieve pressure inside his skull. Doctors placed a shunt to help manage the pressure. 🙏🏥

And then came the update everyone was waiting for:

Blake made it through surgery. 💙🙏

Blake lives with Mosaic Trisomy 22, a rare chromosomal condition that can bring a number of medical and developmental challenges. Yet through every difficult moment, this little boy has continued to touch the hearts of so many people who have followed his journey. 🥺💙

For his parents, Chris and Amy, and for his grandparents and loved ones, surgery was undoubtedly filled with fear, uncertainty, and countless prayers.

But now, they can breathe a little easier. ❤️

Today is a day to be grateful.
A day to celebrate a small but meaningful victory.
A day to keep believing in brighter days ahead. 🌤️🙏
