Just weeks before welcoming her second baby, Lindsey Parr Gritton noticed something unusual.

At 36 weeks pregnant, she felt a burning lump in her breast. Doctors initially thought it could be a clogged milk duct or masтιтis.

But Lindsey trusted her instincts and asked for an ultrasound.

That decision changed everything. 💔

🏥💗 A DIAGNOSIS NO MOTHER EXPECTS
Days later, doctors told Lindsey the lump was highly suspicious for cancer.

A biopsy confirmed an aggressive form of breast cancer, with two tumors and numerous affected lymph nodes.

She was induced at 37 weeks so she could safely welcome her daughter, Savannah Grace, and begin treatment as quickly as possible. 🙏👶

Just one week after giving birth, Lindsey started chemotherapy.

Then a PET scan brought even more difficult news: the cancer had spread to her liver, where doctors found more than a dozen tumors.

She was initially given a very limited outlook. 💔

🌷🙏 SHE STARTED PREPARING MEMORIES FOR HER CHILDREN
Knowing how uncertain the future seemed, Lindsey spent the following months trying to make every moment count.

She created scrapbooks, wrote letters to her daughters and recorded videos they could have in the future.

Being separated from her children during treatment was incredibly painful, but her husband, parents and in-laws stood beside her and helped support the family. 💙

Every three weeks, Lindsey returned to the hospital for chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

🥹✨ THEN CAME THE NEWS THEY HAD BEEN PRAYING FOR
Halfway through treatment, scans showed that the tumors were shrinking.

By the end of chemotherapy, there were no visible signs of the disease.

Later, Lindsey underwent surgery to remove the original tumor area and several lymph nodes. Testing found no remaining abnormal cells. 🌈🙏

Today, she continues immunotherapy and receives regular scans.

And perhaps most precious of all, she is home — celebrating ordinary moments with her husband Spencer and daughters Saylor and Savannah.
