Some family traits are pᴀssed down through generations in the most beautiful and unexpected ways. For little MilliAnna, that special inheritance is a striking natural white streak of hair—just like her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother before her. 🤍✨

Brianna Worthy, from Ridgeland, South Carolina, and her daughter MilliAnna were both born with a distinctive white patch at the front of their hair, making the toddler the fourth generation in the family to share the rare feature. 👩‍👧💖

The unique streak is caused by poliosis, an uncommon condition that results in a lack of pigment in a section of the hair and the skin beneath it.

Before MilliAnna, the same eye-catching trait appeared in her mother, Brianna, her grandmother Jennifer, and her great-grandmother Jaonne, creating an extraordinary family connection that spans generations. 🌟

“We’re unsure how far back it goes because my grandmother was adopted and never knew her biological family,” Brianna explained.

“I was really hoping my daughter would have it. My younger sister didn’t inherit it, so I wasn’t sure if MilliAnna would. But the moment they placed her on my chest and I saw that little white streak, I was so happy.” 🥹🤍

The family’s remarkable appearance often attracts attention wherever they go.

“We definitely get stopped a lot when we’re out,” Brianna said. “Most of the time people are very kind and curious, and I don’t mind answering questions. But sometimes, when you’re in a hurry, it can be a little overwhelming.” 😊

Growing up, Brianna experienced teasing because of her unusual hair.

“I was called names like ‘skunk’ when I was younger,” she recalled. “It hurt sometimes, but as I got older, I learned to truly love my hair. It became my signature look.” 💪❤️

Now, she hopes her daughter will grow up with that same confidence and self-love.

“I plan to raise my daughter knowing she’s beautiful, special, and that unkind comments should never define how she sees herself.” 🌈💕
