🚨 Teen Accused of Killing Mom and Brother After Allegedly Using AI to Create Murder Fantasies

A Mᴀssachusetts teenager is facing serious charges after his mother and younger brother were found ᴅᴇᴀᴅ inside their family home — with prosecutors alleging that he had previously used an AI chatbot to create disturbing fictional stories about harming his family. 💔🚨

Arjun Aravind, 17, is accused of killing his mother, Sudha Venkatesan, 45, and his 14-year-old brother, Siddharth Aravind, at their home in Acton, Má´€ssachusetts, according to prosecutors.

Authorities said the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School student had displayed “concerning behavior” in the period leading up to the tragedy. MiddleSєx County District Attorney Marian Ryan said Aravind had allegedly used an AI chatbot to generate theoretical ideas and fictional stories involving the killing of his family. 🤖⚠️

Ryan said the teenager had asked ChatGPT to help create what she described as “gothic novel-kind of stories.”

The disturbing allegations came to light as investigators worked to piece together what happened inside the family home.

Police were called around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after Aravind’s father reported that a tutor had been unable to enter the house. He told authorities he had last spoken with his wife earlier that morning before leaving for work, while Siddharth had reportedly been seen around noon.

During a welfare check, officers discovered the 14-year-old on the first floor and his mother in the basement. đź’”

Authorities then began searching for Aravind, who had reportedly left the home in his mother’s 2014 green Honda Accord. Police immediately issued an alert to surrounding law enforcement agencies. 🚔

Early Wednesday morning, officers in nearby Wayland responded to an unrelated call and located the Honda outside a business. Aravind was reportedly found inside the vehicle and taken into custody without incident.

“This is an unspeakable tragedy,” District Attorney Ryan said. 🕊️

The official causes of death are expected to be determined by the medical examiner. Authorities have not disclosed whether a firearm or another weapon was involved.

Aravind faces two counts of murder, along with charges including ᴀssault and battery on a household or family member, ᴀssault and battery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft of a motor vehicle. ⚖️

He was arraigned on the motor vehicle-related charges in Lowell Juvenile Court and was expected to face arraignment on the murder charges in Concord District Court.

The case has left the Acton community grieving as investigators continue working to understand the events that led to the deaths of a mother and her teenage son. 💔🙏
