💔 WILL ROBERTS’ FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL NEVER HAPPENED — AND HIS SISTER’S FIRST DAY OF 7TH GRADE MADE THE LOSS FEEL EVEN REALER
This morning was supposed to be a milestone for both Will Roberts and his younger sister Charlie: Charlie’s first day of 7th grade, and Will’s first day of high school.
Instead, only Charlie was in the car.
Brittney shared that she was so overwhelmed that she forgot to take Charlie’s traditional first-day pH๏τo, capturing only a short video during the drive to school. After dropping Charlie off, she made another emotional stop — to visit Will.
The contrast was heartbreaking. Charlie continues experiencing new “firsts,” while Will should have been beside her, starting high school and growing up with his sister.
For Brittney, that quiet visit became another painful reminder of the milestones Will should have been here to experience.
Some first days are celebrated with excitement. Others are carried through tears, memories, and love. ❤️
