💔 “I LOVE YOU. I’LL SEE YOU LATER.” — FAMILY REMEMBERS 20-YEAR-OLD HEAVEN HENNINGS AFTER TRAGIC I-71 CRASH 🕊️

For Natasha Hennings, it was supposed to be an ordinary goodbye.

Her 20-year-old daughter, Heaven Hennings, was leaving home when the two shared a hug. Natasha told her daughter to be careful and reminded her that she loved her.

Heaven’s answer was simple: “I love you. I’ll see you later.” ❤️

Neither mother nor daughter knew those would become their final words to each other.

On August 15, a devastating single-vehicle crash on Interstate 71 near Strongsville changed the Hennings family forever. Strongsville police said officers, emergency medical crews and other agencies were dispatched around 3:13 p.m. to southbound I-71, north of State Route 82.

Responders found a vehicle off the roadway in a nearby ditch with three people inside. Because of the seriousness of the incident, southbound lanes were closed and Life Flight was requested.

Police identified 20-year-old I’saic Pace of Cleveland as the driver. He suffered multiple injuries and was transported by air to MetroHealth for treatment. Heaven, also from Cleveland, was taken by ambulance to Southwest General Hospital, where she was pronounced ᴅᴇᴀᴅ.

Nineteen-year-old Caiden Ozanich, another Cleveland resident, was pronounced ᴅᴇᴀᴅ at the scene.

The loss has left two families grieving while investigators work to understand what caused the vehicle to leave the highway. Authorities have not publicly announced the cause, and police continue seeking witnesses or video that could help clarify what happened.

But for Heaven’s loved ones, the story is about much more than what happened on the highway.

Her mother and two aunts described Heaven as “a light in every room.” ✨

They remembered her as bubbly, kind, funny, amazing and beautiful — someone whose personality could instantly lift the atmosphere around her.

Heaven also had a creative side that made her unmistakably herself. She loved cosplay, imaginative costumes and expressive makeup. Her family remembers her wearing little fairy ears and decorating her looks with stars, glitter and sparkling details. 🧚‍♀️✨

“She was over the top,” her mother recalled affectionately.

Those details may seem small, but they are now among the memories her family treasures most.

Heaven was only 20 years old and had so much of adulthood still ahead of her. She leaves behind five siblings who will now face birthdays, holidays and family gatherings without their sister beside them.

Her family hopes Heaven will be remembered not simply as a name connected to a tragic highway incident, but as the young woman she truly was — full of creativity, laughter, kindness and light. ❤️🕊️

As the investigation continues, her loved ones are left with the memories that matter most: a hug at the door, a loving goodbye, fairy ears, glittering makeup and a young woman who made every room brighter.
