💔 He Was Only 2: Missing Georgia Toddler Messiah Harris Found After Desperate Search

A heartbreaking search for a missing Georgia toddler has ended in tragedy after investigators discovered the body of 2-year-old Messiah Harris in woods behind his apartment complex in Marietta.

Messiah’s disappearance initially triggered an urgent multi-agency search Friday afternoon, as officers and additional law enforcement teams worked throughout the apartment community and surrounding areas.

The child’s caregiver, identified by authorities as 23-year-old Dairon Keith of Kennesaw, was reportedly responsible for watching Messiah while his mother was away.

According to Marietta police, Keith made the initial 911 call reporting the toddler missing.

Officers arrived at approximately 2 p.m. after receiving information that Messiah had last been seen about 30 minutes earlier inside or near the residence.

What initially appeared to be a missing-child emergency soon became more complicated.

Investigators said they began noticing inconsistencies in Keith’s account. Some of the statements he provided allegedly did not match information detectives were gathering from the scene and other sources.

Those discrepancies prompted investigators to examine the possibility that Messiah had not simply wandered away from the apartment complex.
