💔 He says he “blacked out.” When he regained awareness, his girlfriend and her two children were lying on the floor.

A quiet Las Vegas apartment became the scene of a devastating tragedy on September 1, 2026, when a mother and her two children were found d*ad in what authorities described as a triple homicide.

The suspect, 29-year-old Juan Carlos Orona, is accused of k!lling his girlfriend, 41-year-old Nohani Flores Osuna, along with her 16-year-old daughter, Maiya Deleon Flores, and 7-year-old son, Noah Morales Flores.

Orona faces three counts of open m*rder with a ᴅᴇᴀᴅly weapon, along with multiple charges related to f!ring a weapon inside an occupied structure.

According to police, the tragedy unfolded at an apartment on O’Bannon Drive in central Las Vegas.

At approximately 7:10 p.m., emergency dispatchers received a 911 call from a man who reportedly said he had sh*t his girlfriend and her children.

When officers arrived, they found all three victims suffering from apparent gnsH๏τ wounds. Despite emergency efforts, Nohani, Maiya, and Noah were pronounced dad at the scene.

Orona was also injured by a g*nsH๏τ wound to his abdomen, though authorities said the injury was not considered life-threatening.

Investigators learned that Orona and Nohani had been dating for several months. Police documents indicate their relationship had lasted somewhere between three and six months.

Orona told detectives he had helped Nohani obtain the apartment and had been paying the rent.

According to the arrest report, however, tensions escalated after Orona believed Nohani was involved with her former boyfriend. He reportedly noticed her vehicle near her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle before going to the apartment to confront her.

The confrontation allegedly centered on accusations of infidelity.

Orona reportedly told investigators that Nohani admitted to being involved with her former partner and made a comment comparing the two men.

He then allegedly told detectives that he “blacked out.”

Orona claimed that he lost awareness of what happened next. When he said he regained consciousness, he was inside the bathroom holding a 9mm handgun. He allegedly then saw Nohani and her two children lying on the floor.

Authorities said Orona did not deny f!ring the weapon, but claimed he could not explain exactly how the sh**tings occurred or who was struck first.

Crime scene investigators recovered 10 spent 9mm shell casings inside the apartment. Police said they did not find a weapon near Nohani or either child.

Orona reportedly told investigators he carried the firearm because he feared Nohani’s former boyfriend might come to the apartment and harm him. A handgun was later recovered from a backpack inside Orona’s pickup truck.

Afterward, police said Orona contacted his father and told him he had “hurt” his girlfriend and her children. His father reportedly urged him to turn himself in.

Orona was later taken to a police station by his father and brother. From the station parking lot, he called 911 and reported that he had sh*t three people.

The case remains under investigation, and the allegations against Orona have not been proven in court.

For the victims’ family, however, the loss is already permanent.
