🇺🇦🔥 SYZRAN OIL REFINERY IN FLAMES — DRONE STRIKE ROCKS RUSSIA’S SAMARA REGION

Huge explosions and a mᴀssive fire erupted in Syzran after Ukrainian long-range drones reportedly struck one of Russia’s key oil refineries in the Samara region.

Reuters reported that Ukraine said its drones hit the Rosneft-owned Syzran refinery, located more than 800 km from Ukraine’s border, causing a major fire at the facility. Local Russian officials also said two people were killed in a drone attack on the town, though it remains unclear whether their deaths were directly linked to the refinery itself.

The strike is part of Ukraine’s expanding campaign against Russia’s energy infrastructure. Kyiv says these attacks are aimed at cutting the fuel and financial lifelines that support Moscow’s war machine.

For Ukraine, Syzran is another “long-range sanction.”
For Russia, the flames rising over the Volga region are a warning that even deep rear industrial sites are no longer beyond reach.

One refinery burning. Two deaths reported. And Russia’s oil network facing pressure far from the front line.
