From her very first days of life, she has faced serious medical challenges and undergone complex surgeries at Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. After years of fighting, doctors have now told her family that a heart transplant is her best hope for the future.

Every day, her mother, Rebecca Lambert, stays close to her daughter’s bedside, hoping for the phone call every transplant family dreams of.

But finding the right heart won’t be easy.
