🥺💙 HE HELPED HEAL HER BROKEN HEART — THEN LEFT BEHIND A BEAUTIFUL PURPOSE
For Sarah Ward, the dream of becoming a mother had already brought years of heartbreak. After infertility, failed IVF attempts and devastating pregnancy losses, she wondered if her heart could ever feel whole again. 💔
Then came Royce, her young nephew.
With his bright blue eyes, joyful smile and love for music, Royce had a way of making everyone around him laugh. For Sarah, he became a little light during some of the darkest days of her life. 🌈💙
Whenever grief left her unable to get out of bed, Royce would visit. Somehow, this little boy could turn her tears into smiles. He never replaced the babies she had lost — he simply reminded her that love could still find its way into her life. 🥹💕

Then, on July 4, 2018, everything changed.
At just 20 months old, Royce suffered a sudden medical emergency after falling from a bed. Despite CPR and emergency care, doctors later told his family that he had suffered two cardiac arrests and showed no signs of brain activity.
For three heartbreaking days, his family stayed beside him, praying and hoping for a miracle. But eventually, they had to say goodbye. 🕊️💔
The little boy who had once helped mend Sarah’s broken heart had now left another kind of emptiness behind.
Yet Royce’s story did not end there.
His parents created Rightly Royce in his memory, turning their grief into something that could bring comfort to others and support the children’s hospital where Royce received care. ❤️
Sarah, too, chose to carry his love forward — through kindness, faith and a desire to help others who are hurting.
Healing does not mean forgetting. Sometimes, it means carrying the love someone gave us and letting it become a light for someone else. 🌷🕊️
Royce’s time was far too short, but the love he gave was never small. 💙✨
