Little Eleanor Faith Butler was born in April 2024 with osteogenesis imperfecta type III, a severe condition that makes her bones extremely fragile. She suffered multiple fractures around the time of her birth and spent her first 67 days in the NICU. 🏥💔

As Eleanor grew, her family continued facing difficult challenges. She needed ongoing treatment, and doctors eventually discovered instability in her neck that was putting pressure on her spinal cord. She underwent cervical spine surgery and later spent time in a halo vest as she continued her recovery. 🙏💗

Yet through it all, Eleanor kept finding little ways to move forward. She began sitting, scooting, and taking food by mouth again. 🌈✨

Then came a moment her mother had waited two precious years to hear.

After years of therapy and delayed speech, Eleanor looked toward her mother and said “Mom.” 🥹💕

For Tasha, that single word meant more than words could ever explain. After everything her little girl had endured, hearing her daughter call for her was a moment of pure joy and love.
