It’s official.

Caleb Flynn has been sentenced to life in pr#son without the possibility of parole after being convicted in the case involving his wife, Ashley Flynn. The court also imposed consecutive sentences that amount to 16 additional years before the life sentence takes effect.

Before the sentence was handed down, Flynn became emotional while addressing his daughters and family. He apologized for the pain caused by his actions and said his daughters were the greatest joy in his life — but he continued to maintain that he did not k#ll Ashley.

Prosecutors argued that Flynn was responsible for Ashley’s d#ath and later attempted to make investigators believe an intruder was responsible. The case also included extensive digital communications and testimony concerning his relationship with Alleigha Botner.

Judge Jeannine Pratt said the evidence led her to what she described as a clear conclusion and criticized what she characterized as layers of deceit and manipulation. Ashley’s family asked the court for the maximum sentence while also speaking about forgiveness and the importance of preserving Ashley’s memory.

Flynn’s defense has indicated that an appeal is planned.
