For 15-year-old Will Roberts of Alabama, the past sixteen months have been defined by extraordinary resilience in the face of an aggressive form of bone cancer that has spread to his brain and the area behind both eyes.

While the medical challenges have been immense, those closest to Will say it is his determination—not his diagnosis—that continues to inspire everyone around him.

Recently, Will endured one of the most difficult periods since his illness began. According to his family, he experienced nearly two weeks of severe eye pain and double vision, often requiring an eye patch to help manage his symptoms.
