The campaign calling for Sir Tom Jones to return to The Voice UK has exploded, with more than 63,000 people now signing the peтιтion demanding that the legendary singer be brought back to the show.

And now, the campaign has received a major boost from someone who knows Tom particularly well.

🎤 WILL.I.AM JOINS THE PUBLIC REACTION

will.i.am, who has worked alongside Sir Tom as a coach on The Voice UK, shared an Instagram post promoting the peтιтion on September 15.

His involvement has given the growing campaign another burst of attention as fans continue to make their feelings known about Tom’s departure from the coaching panel.

The peтιтion was launched by superfan Aaron Howlett, who said he was overwhelmed by the response after initially having no idea how many people would support the campaign.

💔 TOM JONES DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE

Sir Tom, 86, has made it clear that leaving The Voice UK was not his choice.

After ITV announced a new coaching line-up for Series 15, Jones said he had been offered a much smaller role that would involve making an appearance rather than serving as a coach from the beginning.

He publicly expressed his disappointment, saying he loved the programme and appreciated its audience.

ITV has confirmed that Series 15 will feature Aitch and Cheryl as new coaches, alongside returning coach Kelly Rowland and long-standing coach will.i.am. Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon will host the new series.

ITV thanked Sir Tom for his years on the programme and the memorable moments he brought to the show. The broadcaster also said it continues to discuss his possible involvement with Tom and his team, even though he will no longer be a full-time coach for Series 15.
