💙🙏 Husband Holds Onto Hope as Wife Kristen Continues Fight After Sudden Medical Emergency

For more than 20 years, Jeremy Snyder knew there was one person he could always count on.

His wife, Kristen.

Through life’s challenges, difficult moments, and everyday struggles, Kristen remained by his side — not only as his partner, but as his greatest source of support and encouragement.

Now, Jeremy is facing the hardest moment of his life as he waits and prays for Kristen to recover.

On July 12, Kristen experienced a sudden medical emergency at their home in Louisiana. Jeremy says he may not have realized something was wrong if it were not for Mike, his hearing service dog from Canine Companions.

Mike alerted Jeremy that something had happened, allowing him to find Kristen and immediately begin helping her before she was taken to the hospital. 🐾

Jeremy says he will always be grateful for that moment because it gave him the opportunity to fight for the woman who has spent more than two decades fighting alongside him.

Today, Kristen remains in the ICU at University Medical Center in New Orleans, receiving care while her family continues hoping for signs of improvement.

Jeremy and Kristen have shared a life together since 2002 and married in 2008. Their relationship has been built on love, patience, and unwavering support.

For Jeremy, Kristen has always been much more than a wife.

She has been his partner, his advocate, and the person who helped him navigate life’s challenges.

Jeremy lives with hearing loss, autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder. Throughout his life, he has worked hard to achieve his goals, including learning new ways to communicate, pursuing his dream of working as a Walt Disney World Cast Member, and later receiving an Osia cochlear implant that improved his daily life.

Through every achievement and every challenge, Kristen was there beside him. ❤️

Now, the roles have changed.

Jeremy is the one standing beside her.

He shared that one doctor previously gave him a very difficult outlook regarding Kristen’s recovery. However, her current medical team continues evaluating her condition, and Jeremy remains focused on every reason to keep hoping.

Doctors have noted that Kristen continues showing certain responses while they monitor her progress and determine the next steps in her care.

At only 48 years old, Kristen’s family believes her story is not finished.

Jeremy says his greatest fear is simple: learning how to live without the woman who has been by his side for more than two decades.

Now, he is asking others to join him in prayer.

He is praying for healing for Kristen, wisdom for every member of her medical team, and strength while he waits beside the person who has always been there for him.

For Jeremy, this is more than a medical journey.

It is a husband fighting with hope for the love of his life. 💙
