๐๐ WILL ROBERTS REMEMBERED: HUNDREDS GATHERED TO HONOR THE ALABAMA TEEN WHO TOUCHED THOUSANDS OF LIVES

Hundreds of people gathered at Shelton State Community College in Alabama on August 1 to celebrate the life of 15-year-old Will Roberts, whose courageous battle with stage 4 osteosarcoma inspired people across the country. The day was officially proclaimed โWill Roberts Dayโ by Gov. Kay Ivey.
Willโs journey had drawn widespread attention after he shared a heartfelt online plea for access to experimental treatment. His story brought together strangers, churches, public officials and supporters who offered prayers, encouragement and financial help to his family.

Will d#ed in July after more than a year of battling bone cancer. Friends, relatives and supporters gathered not only to mourn his l#ss, but to remember his faith, positivity and determination to encourage others even during his own difficult journey.
His family has emphasized that Willโs story should be remembered for how he lived, rather than focusing only on his illness. His message of hope and faith reached thousands of people who never had the chance to meet him.
๐๏ธ For one Alabama family, August 1 was a heartbreaking goodbye โ but for thousands who followed Willโs story, it was also a celebration of a young life that left a lasting mark.
