💔🙏 THEY WENT TO SLEEP AS A FAMILY OF THREE — BY MORNING, ALL THREE WERE GONE

💔🙏 THEY WENT TO SLEEP AS A FAMILY OF THREE — BY MORNING, ALL THREE WERE GONE
A mother, a father and their 2-year-old son went to sleep Sunday night.
By Monday morning, their family was gone.
Dillon Evans, his wife Isabella and their young son, Easton Lee, died after a devastating fire tore through their Kansas home early Monday morning.
According to KAKE, firefighters were called to a home near Galesburg at approximately 1:30 a.m. During the response, crews learned that a family of three could be inside and attempted an exterior search.
None of them survived.
The loss has left relatives, friends and an entire community struggling to understand how three people they loved could be here one moment and gone the next. 💔
Dillon and Isabella were building their life together.
Friends remember the couple as two people who seemed perfectly matched, sharing a relationship filled with laughter, silliness and love.
And then there was their little boy, Easton.
He was only 2 years old. ❤️
For those who knew the family, memories of Easton’s earliest days are now especially painful.
One of Isabella’s friends remembered being there after he was born, braiding Isabella’s hair and spending time with her and her brand-new baby.
That joyful memory now stands in heartbreaking contrast to what the family is facing.
Instead of watching Easton grow up, relatives and friends are preparing to bury him alongside his mother and father.
Family and friends are expected to gather Tuesday, September 1, with funeral services scheduled for Wednesday morning in Parsons.
The community has already begun organizing support for the grieving families. A fundraiser has been established to help with funeral and memorial expenses, while memorial shirts are also being sold in honor of the three lives lost.
Those efforts may help ease some of the practical burdens, but nothing can ease the pain of losing an entire young family in a single night.
For the parents who lost their children, the relatives who lost a grandson and the friends who lost people they expected to have in their lives for decades, the road ahead will be incredibly difficult.
And perhaps the most painful part is knowing how much life Dillon, Isabella and Easton should have had ahead of them.
Birthdays.
Holidays.
Family pH๏τographs.
First days of school.
Countless ordinary moments that will now never happen.
So right now, their loved ones are asking for something simple but powerful.
Prayer. 🙏
Pray for the parents grieving the loss of their children and grandchild.
Pray for the relatives and friends trying to process this unimaginable tragedy.
And pray especially for everyone who loved little Easton and must now say goodbye to him alongside his mom and dad.
Three members of one young family.
Dillon. Isabella. Easton.
May their memories remain alive in everyone who loved them, and may those left behind find strength in the days ahead. 🕊️❤️
