A community in Phagameng Extension 12, Modimolle, is grieving after a devastating fire claimed the lives of a mother and her three children.

The victims were identified as Elisa Masalesa and her children, who were 3, 10, and 11 years old. According to reports, the family was inside their home when a fire broke out on Monday, July 6, 2026.

The flames quickly spread through the structure, leaving the mother and children unable to escape. All four family members sadly lost their lives in the tragedy.
