💔🎗️ A LITTLE BOY FIGHTING BRAIN CANCER — WHILE HIS MOM FIGHTS CANCER TOO

In March 2025, four-year-old Raffi Starkowitz was a happy, energetic little boy who loved trucks, trains, football, and helping his family. Then one small change in the way he walked changed everything. 💔

His nursery noticed that Raffi had suddenly become unsteady on his feet. Doctors initially thought it might be an ear infection or a minor illness, but an MRI revealed a large tumor in his cerebellum. 🧠

Raffi was rushed to Great Ormond Street Hospital, where surgeons performed an emergency operation lasting around 10 hours. They successfully removed the tumor, but tests revealed an aggressive and extremely rare form of childhood brain cancer called Group 3 large-cell anaplastic medulloblastoma. 🎗️

He endured intensive chemotherapy, six weeks of daily radiation, hospital stays, infections, exhaustion, and painful side effects. Yet through it all, Raffi continued to smile and play whenever he felt strong enough. 🥹💙

Then came another devastating blow.

While her son was undergoing treatment, Raffi’s mother, Nicky — a pediatric nurse and mother of three — was diagnosed with Stage III breast cancer. Suddenly, this family was fighting two cancer battles at the same time. 💔🙏

Today, Raffi’s family is doing everything they can to give him the chance to grow up and enjoy the simple things he loves again — playing with his trucks, kicking a football, and being the carefree little boy he was before cancer changed everything. 🚂⚽️💙

Their journey is incredibly difficult, but their hope remains strong.
